I’m Meg! I am a Journalism student at the University of Miami and the online content editor for The Miami Hurricane. I love to eat and I love to write. I will be trying restaurants in the Miami area and wherever I can. I will also try my hand at cooking, a newfound hobby of mine. Here I will post my thoughts on the places I go and how successful (or unsuccessful) I am at my own cooking. This is just a place for me to share my love for all things food. Hey Meggie! There’s a place on Washington and 16th called Chalan on the Beach. It’s a Peruvian restaurant with awesome food. It’s definitely a hole-in-the-wall, nothing fancy or trendy about it, but the food rocks! Best ceviche I’ve ever had. Try the lomo saltado and tres leches for dessert. Just thinking about it makes me want to get on a flight to Miami right now!
I’ll have to try it! I love ceviche. When you come down next we should all go!
